Crazy Horse III is a relative newcomer to the gentlemen’s club scene in Las Vegas. The club occupies the location that was formerly “Sin” and then “Penthouse Club”. The Palomino Club has been in operation since 1969.  The club has the distinct honor of being the only all-nude gentlemen’s club in Las Vegas to serve alcohol. This is because they were in operation prior to the law prohibiting alcohol at all-nude clubs.

Throughout many locations in The United States, smoking in public is now banned. This is not the case in Las Vegas. Nevada does have non-smoking laws in force, but the laws are written to take into account the adult-oriented theme of Las Vegas. Where Smoking is Allowed in Las Vegas

Since smoking is not allowed in most public places, it is easier to list where smokers are allowed to light up. The general rule-of-thumb to follow is that smoking is allowed in most places where people under the age of 18 are not allowed. Specifically, smoking is allowed in the following places.

• Casino floor areas. People under 21 are not allowed unaccompanied by an adult on the casino floor. The staff will check IDs and require that anyone under 21 leave the area.
• Stand-alone bars. There are bars that serve alcohol only and are not a combination bar/resturaunt. Since the drinking age in Nevada is 21, legally there should be no minors in a bar.
• Strip Clubs. Some of the strip clubs in Las Vegas do allow customers who are under 21, but those clubs do not serve alcohol. However, smoking is allowed in those clubs also.
• Designated smoking areas.

What Smokers and Non-Smokers Should Expect

If you are a smoker, you will find Las Vegas to be a haven! You will actually be able to smoke while having a drink. The resorts provide smoking hotel rooms, but be aware that if you check into a non-smoking room and smoke, you will be charged a room cleaning fee after you check out. When you go to a strip club, you will be able to smoke. Many of the ladies at the clubs also smoke. For smokers, pay attention to the signs and don’t smoke in non-smoking areas.

If you are buying cigarettes at one of the shops in the resorts, be prepared to pay a premium price. Buy your cigarettes before your trip to save money.  If you are gambling and need a pack of cigarettes, ask the coctail waitress.  Many times, she will get you a pack for free.  Make sure you tip her!

If you are a non-smoker, in many situations, you will just have to deal with the cigarette smoke. Many of the casinos provide non-smoking gaming areas. The resorts provide non-smoking hotel rooms also, so you are set there. If you check into a room and it smells of cigarettes, call the front desk and request a different room. They will accommodate you.

In general, both smokers and non-smokers can enjoy the excitement of Las Vegas if you respect each others rights.

A number of requests have been made on how much it costs to go to a Las Vegas strip club.  The amount you spend is based on your personal preferences, but it is good to know how much the services cost in general. Below are the average amounts you can expect to pay when visiting a Las Vegas strip club.

Taxi Service

$15 – $20 depending on distance from your resort to the club.

Cover Charge

$20 – $50 depending on the club itself

By using a club’s pickup service, you won’t have to pay for a taxi or for the cover charge.  That gives you more money for drinks and dances!

Drinks and Tips

$8 – $15 depending on the club and the drink you order.
Tipping the waitress is required and the tip should be $1 – $2 per drink.

Lap Dance

$20 is the going rate for lap dances on the main floor of virtually all clubs. Some clubs do have time periods where they offer discount dances.
